Zack Bousnane

Having grown up in France and earning my commercial pilot rating in Paris in 2004, I came to the U.S. in 2006 and fell in love with San Francisco and the Bay Area. I then earned all of my FAA ratings and became an instructor in 2017 and never looked back. When I was working on becoming an instructor, I had the opportunity to fly across the country multiple times for fun and ferrying planes and was able to experience all different types of weather and terrain. It was an adventure unlike anything else that I recommend for anyone wanting to be a pilot.

I love everything about teaching, but my favorite part is watching my students’ success when they pass their checkrides and become pilots. Becoming a pilot takes a lot of work and I’m here to make your training fun, safe, and a rewarding experience.

My background is in electrical and mechanical engineering from the University of Montpellier and I worked in the petroleum industry as a design engineer before becoming a full-time flight instructor. Engineering and flying complement each other very well and I use my experience to help you understand the plane inside and out.

If you’re ready to reach your goal of becoming a pilot or earning an advanced rating, give me a call! I can help you with private, instrument, commercial, and multi-engine training and I specialize in Diamond flying.
