I have been flying in the Bay Area for about 25 years – alongside a career in Silicon Valley Engineering and Business roles. I got my private pilot certificate right here in 2002 (it was not called “Advantage Aviation” then)! Flying has been a passion since childhood; I have dedicated most of my free time perfecting it.

My main motivation in teaching is to be able to give the joy of flight to you. I bring extensive management and mentoring experience from my business life to aviation. My teaching philosophy is a good foundation of knowledge paired with learning in “small blocks” without an overly rigid plan. Learning to fly can be overwhelming, so the idea is to keep it relaxed and have fun!

I specialize in Cessna single engine airplanes with advanced avionics. I own a 2023 Cessna Turbo 182, which is a pure joy to fly and available for rental here.
