My name is Lukas Keating, and I was born and raised in Vermont, where I discovered my passion for aviation during college after taking my first Discovery Flight. I earned my Private Pilot License flying out of Burlington International Airport (KBTV) before moving to Aspen, Colorado, where I worked as a fly fishing guide and freestyle skiing coach.
While living in Aspen, I had the unique opportunity to fly out of Aspen Airport (KASE), and further solidified my dreams of flying- not just for fun, but as a career.
I later moved to San Francisco to pursue aviation full time, earning my Instrument Rating and Commercial Certificate out of San Carlos Airport (KSQL), followed by my Certified Flight Instructor rating out of Palo Alto Airport (KPAO).
With a strong background in teaching and coaching, becoming a flight instructor was a natural progression. I’m passionate about helping you build confidence, fly safely, and enjoy the process of learning to fly.
I’d love to help you achieve your goal of becoming a pilot or expand your skill set!
