It seems I have always wanted to fly. As a kid, I started flying gliders and got my private pilot certificate and instrument rating in college and then flew as a carrier based pilot in the US Navy for 6 years, ultimately flying the S-3A Viking. I put flying on hold after the Navy as I moved back home to Palo Alto to start a family and pursue a high tech career. Soon after becoming an empty nester, I reignited my passion for flying — even flew briefly as a First Officer flying CRJ’s for a regional airline based out of San Francisco! I’m excited about the prospect of teaching those who wish to pursue their own dream of piloting an aircraft.
