Looks like the Garmin 696 has been out for about a week now and this thing rocks.  I received mine from Sporty's over a week ago and used it to fly out to Shelters Cove yesterday.  I have to say it is very easy to use, gives me a lot of situational awareness, and kicks my KLN94 in the butt.

Anyone else try out the 696?
